By MyFM’s Marissa Santos – The Medway Business Council 2024 Scholarship Application deadline is May3. They are offering two scholarships worth $1,000 each. These scholarships aim to support and encourage the educational pursuits of graduating seniors in Medway High School who demonstrate both merit and financial need.

The criteria for consideration are as follows:

  • Applicants must be residents of Medway.
  • They must be graduating seniors in high school.
  • Selection is based on both merit and financial need.
  • Finalists may be required to undergo an interview conducted by the Business Council.
  • Completion of the Medway Business Council scholarship application is mandatory.
  • Scholarships are awarded to students who intend to pursue a degree in a business discipline or exhibit aspirations of becoming entrepreneurs, business leaders, or community influencers in their chosen field.

The scholarships are named in honor of esteemed individuals who have made significant contributions to the Medway community:

  1. The Medway Business Council, Peter J. Kenney Memorial Award
    • Amount: $1,000
    • Donor Name: Medway Business Council
    • In Memory of: Peter J. Kenney, a dynamic charter member of the council.
  2. The Medway Business Council Memorial Award
    • Amount: $1,000
    • Donor Name: Medway Business Council
    • In Memory of: Deceased members of the Medway Business Council.

All scholarship recipients will be selected from the same pool of applicants.
