MEDWAY – A 10-year-old boy remains hospitalized after suffering a serious head injury in an apparent fall at his home Sunday morning. Officials say the child was found unconscious by a family member after they heard a loud sound.
The Medway Fire Department reports he was flown to UMass Memorial Medical Center and regained consciousness during the helicopter transport. While the exact cause of the fall is unknown, authorities say the injury is believed to be non-life-threatening.
