A massive project gets underway in Franklin today. There’s a groundbreaking ceremony at 11am to kick off the Beaver Street Sewer Interceptor Replacement. State officials will be on hand for the ceremony at the Franklin Recreation Center. The 108-year-old pipeline has been operating continuously since it was built but needs work. It’s 2.3 miles long and carries more than 70% of the Town’s sewage with an average daily flow of around 1.5 million gallons. Officials say it will take until summer 2026 to replace.
Is it STILL too early for pumpkin spice?
