By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – This weekend is the annual two-day Massachusetts sales tax holiday. The goal is to give you a break when shopping for back-to-school items. This Saturday and Sunday only you can save the sales tax on items that cost $2,500 or less. It includes online purchases as well as long as they are done Saturday and Sunday during Eastern Daylight Time. The tax holiday does not apply to restaurant tabs; cannabis, alcohol and tobacco; gas or any utilities. And it’s not for businesses, just residents.
