Massachusetts Pilot Program: Free Rides on MetroWest Transit Routes to Promote Public Transit

SHARE NOW

By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – In an effort to encourage you to try ditching your car for mass transit, the state has started a pilot program which includes some free MetroWest Regional Transit Authority routes. From now through March 31, certain fixed route and demand response riders are eligible for free rides. You must have a registered Catch Card to participate. MWRTA runs more than 15 fixed bus routes throughout 16 communities including Milford, Holliston, Hopedale, Hopkinton, Marlborough, Southborough and more.
