Massachusetts’ Attorney General is suing pharma giant CVS, alleging they failed to comply with state prescription drug pricing regulations by not giving Medicaid members access to the same discount as cash-paying customers. AG Andrea Campbell says she and several other state attorneys general filed the federal suit because CVS’s discount card program with ScriptSave did not extend the discounts to MassHealth and other Medicaid recipients. A spokesperson for CVS says they strongly dispute the allegations.
