SOUTHBOROUGH – Southborough Police have arrested a Worcester man on multiple charges after an alleged drunk driving stop revealed he had children in the car and an active warrant out of Florida.
Police say the man was pulled over Saturday for a defective headlight. During the stop, the officer reportedly observed slurred speech and learned the driver did not have a valid license. Backup was called to the scene, and a search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered three empty nip bottles along with two additional open containers of alcohol.
Authorities say the man now faces a lengthy list of charges, including Child Endangerment while Operating Under the Influence, Driving on a Suspended License, and being a Fugitive from Justice on a Court Warrant tied to Florida.
