Layoffs are hitting some workers in Holliston. Marlborough-based manufacturer Web Industries is reportedly laying off 68 people at its Holliston facility according to a report it had to submit to the state. The Worcester Business Journal reports the layoffs will happen between October 19 and December 31. While no reason for the layoffs has been made public yet, Web Industries had done a big hiring of 125 people in Holliston back in 2020 when they ramped up production of COVID-19 testing components.
