Judge Urges Release of Internal Investigation Records in Case Against Former Hopkinton Deputy Police Chief Accused of Child Rape

The judge in the case against a former Hopkinton Deputy Police Chief accused of child rape when he was a school resource officer in 2004 wants the Town to turn over its internal investigation records. The Hopkinton Independent reports the judge said he would give the Town until January 9 to turn over documents related to the Town’s investigations into John Porter and Sgt. Tim Brennan who has been on paid leave since the Porter case began. Brennan took over as school resource officer after Porter.
