By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The investigation continues into the Friday explosion at a Bellingham gas station that sent four people to a hospital. It happened around 6pm at the SavMore Gas Station on South Main. Bellingham Fire Chief William Miller said in a statement that a contractor was working on maintenance at the time when some vapor that gathered inside a manhole contributed to what they call a flash fire. Four members of the contractor’s team were burned, two of them severely, and were taken to a Rhode Island Hospital.
