By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Unofficial results from Tuesday’s election show incumbent Democratic state Senator Becca Rausch on the way to being elected to her fourth term. In the district that includes Milford, Franklin and other towns, Rausch was defeating Republican challenger Dashe Videira with 54% of the vote.
Republican Incumbent State Senator Ryan Fattman was also on the road to winning reelection by more than 67% over challenger Anthony Allard. Fattman represents Blackstone, Hopedale, Mendon, Northbridge, Upton, and Uxbridge.
In the race for the 2nd District Governor’s Council, Democrat Tamisha Civil was leading by 56% over Republican Francis Crimmins Jr.
Question 1 – State Auditor to audit the Legislature was passing by more than 71%.
Question 2 – Repeal needing the MCAS to graduate was passing by more than 59%.
Question 3 – Allow rideshare drivers to enter into union agreements was passing by 56%.
Question 4 – Legalizing psychedelic mushrooms was failing by 55%.
Question 5 – Increase the minimum wage for tipped service workers was failing by more than 62%.
