GRAFTON – An illegal marijuana cultivation operation has been dismantled in a residential area of town following a lengthy investigation by Grafton Police and the Blackstone Valley Drug Task Force.
Police say on Friday they arrested a man for operating the illegal grow near the intersection of Kessel and Oak Streets. Officials warn that large-scale, unregulated marijuana grows often involve dangerous electrical modifications that can pose serious fire hazards, along with the potential use of hazardous chemicals and mold growth caused by excessive humidity inside homes.
