MEDWAY – A high-speed chase through Milford and Medway on Wednesday was later confirmed to involve federal immigration enforcement. Authorities say ICE agents in unmarked vehicles attempted to stop a van on Route 109 in Milford, with the pursuit continuing into Medway along West Street and onto Fisher Street.
The situation escalated when individuals inside the van jumped out while it was still moving, causing the vehicle to crash near high-tension power lines. Agents pursued the suspects on foot but were unable to locate them, and no injuries were reported. Medway Police Chief William Kingsbury confirmed that local police were not involved in the operation.
