Hopkinton’s new Commission on Disability has held its first ever meeting. The Hopkinton Independent reports the group met Monday night and laid out some goals and ideas for improving inclusion of people with disabilities throughout the community whether at town offices, public spaces or events. First up they plan to create a survey to see what the public thinks is needed. They also discussed looking into grants to help with any businesses or space they would need building modifications to improve access.
