Hopkinton’s Farrell Signs With Montreal Canadiens

We can officially say that Hopkinton’s Sean Farrell is an NHL hockey player. Yesterday the Montreal Canadiens announced the 21-year-old Farrell, who was a fourth-round selection in the 2020 NHL draft, has inked a three-year, entry-level contract worth around $3.5 million.

Farrell just wrapped his last season playing for Harvard which ended their season last week. He also represented the US at the 2022 Winter Olympics and World Hockey Championship. He is set to join the Canadiens on their road trip this week.
