HOPKINTON – A youth organization in Hopkinton has been honored at the State House for its work in public health and prevention.
The Hopkinton Organizing for Prevention Youth Coalition received the Upstream Prevention Award from the 84 Movement for its efforts in reducing youth nicotine use and promoting mental health.
The award highlights groups working to address the underlying causes of health challenges. The coalition is also marking its 10th year of prevention work in the community.
