Hopkinton has its first ever Project Manager for Sustainability, Economic Development and Equity. Town Manager Norman Kuhmalo says Julia Chun started work on July 24 with goals including development of programs related to water use efficiency, solid waste management, energy conservation and other efforts toward sustainability. She will also work on promoting and strengthening the local economy and diversifying the town’s tax base through business retention and expansion, also with an eye toward sustainability.
