By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton’s Special Town Meeting is Monday November 18 at 7pm at the Middle School. There are several issues on the warrant including reauthorization of the Town’s Means Tested Senior Property Tax Exemption for another 3 years, adopting an excise tax on restaurant meals, on top of the state’s tax, to help pay for an economic developer officer for the town and amending the Zoning Bylaw and the Zoning Map by adopting a new Multi-Family Overlay District to comply with the state’s MBTA Communities law.
