By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton’s Town Election is Monday May 20. Yes, it is a Monday. All voting is at Hopkinton Middle School from 7am-8pm. There is only one contested race and that’s for the Select Board with four people vying for two seats that are being vacated by Muriel Kramer and Irfan Nasrullah. The candidates are Joseph Clark, Brian Herr, Kyla McSweeney, and Peter Mimmo. There are also eight tax exemption issues on the ballot including for new HVAC systems for the schools and an addition to Hopkins Elementary.
