By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Some long-awaited electrical transformers for the Hopkinton Main Street Corridor Project are on the way to Hopkinton. Town Manager Elaine Lazarus announced Monday in a town notice after a two year wait, six of 12 electrical transformers for the project will be there this week for Eversource to begin installing. She says the remaining six will be arriving within the next few weeks. The lack of transformers has caused major project delays but Lazarus says this will enable the team to bring the project to completion.
