HOPKINTON – Hopkinton homeowners who are age 60 or older, or who have a qualifying disability, are being encouraged to apply for assistance with paying their property tax bills.

The Town’s Tax Relief Committee administers the program, which is designed to help residents who own and occupy a single-family home in Hopkinton as their primary residence. Officials say the amount of tax relief awarded depends on several factors, including the size of the fund, the number of qualified applicants, and overall community need.

There are maximum income limits to qualify for the program. The application deadline is February 20th.

Applications are available online and in person at Town Hall. Residents with questions are encouraged to contact the Hopkinton Tax Relief Committee for more information.
