HOPKINTON – A recent survey indicates some Hopkinton middle and high school students are feeling better emotionally than they were two years earlier. The survey was conducted in 2025, using the same questions as a 2023 survey, and the results were discussed at last week’s School Committee meeting.
The Hopkinton Independent reports anxiety among students decreased by 6 percent while depression decreased by 3 percent. Students with disabilities, however, reported higher rates of stress and depression.
