Tomorrow is Hopkinton’s Special Town Election over whether to fund a new Elmwood Elementary School. Two weeks ago a Special Town Meeting approved the new school which will cost the town about $91 million over a 30-year borrowing period. The full price is closer to $158 million but the Massachusetts School Building Authority is set to reimburse the town up to about $62 million and there are some other rebates as well. The Special Election requires just a simple majority of town voters to pass. Voting is at Hopkinton Middle School tomorrow from 7am to 8pm.
