The Hopkinton Select Board has voted to endorse the $158.4 million budget for a proposed new Elmwood School. The Hopkinton Independent reports their approval Wednesday night followed the Tuesday night approval of the School Committee. That amount will go before Town Meeting in November and also on the ballot for all voters as a debt exclusion. Were it to fail, Hopkinton would go back to square one, and at the back of the line, in the Massachusetts School Building Authority approval process.
