By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Hopkinton Select Board has started discussing options for how to best use some town-owned properties. The Hopkinton Independent reports at their meeting Tuesday they started sorting through ideas for Center School, the current Elmwood School building, Town Hall and some town property on Fruit Street. Following some community forums and discussions with town departments and boards one common theme was that the Town needs more physical space for Town departments to operate. There was also discussion of creating a recreation or teen center and talk of more affordable housing.
