By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Hopkinton Select Board is not going to call for an investigation into Police Chief Joseph Bennett until the Northwestern County District Attorney’s Office finishes the one they are conducting into how a sexual assault victim’s name was made public in a document dump during the investigation into an officer. In a statement Friday, the Select Board said they opted to take no action in an executive session last week even though the possibility had been mentioned in Bennett’s midyear review. The Select Board says the Northwestern DA’s Office asked them to hold off on taking any action for now.
