By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Electronic waste collection continues to be a topic of conversation for the Hopkinton Select Board. At their meeting on December 17 the Board was discussing putting an end to the Town’s e-waste collection program but decided to tap the brakes on a decision. The Hopkinton Independent reports the Department of Public Works director said the fees residents pay to dump e-waste are well below the cost to recycle it. But the Board decided to wait on a decision until hearing from the Sustainable Green Committee.
