Hopkinton Seeks Community Input as Budget Talks Progress for FY 2026

As Hopkinton town officials continue working to create and balance the town budget for Fiscal Year 2026, there are ways you can let them know what you think. Hopkinton Town Manager Elaine Lazarus says in her latest weekly update that the Select Board meetings in February and early March will feature Town departments describing their budget requests. March 11, the Select Board is scheduled to adopt a budget and forward it to the Appropriation Committee for review and a public hearing. All of these meetings are open to the public. All of these meetings are open to the public. Feedback and comment on town budgets is welcome with an online form you can find on the town website. And all registered voters can attend the Annual Town Meeting May 5 to vote on the budget.
