By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton Schools officials are asking residents to stop using the High School track, fields and tennis and basketball courts during the regular school day from 8am-3pm. In a letter to the community, the school superintendent says there was a recent incident in which someone got “uncomfortably close” to a group of students in a PE/Wellness class. She says that, on top of the swatting incident in which a hoax call about an attack brought out a police response, has officials taking a safety-first approach going forward.
