HOPKINTON – Several Hopkinton schools have received high marks in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings of public schools for 2026.
According to the Hopkinton Independent, Hopkinton Middle School ranked 7th statewide among Massachusetts middle schools. At the elementary level, Hopkins School placed 11th, while Elmwood School came in at 21st out of 1,542 elementary schools across the state.
The rankings are based on factors including math and reading proficiency, socioeconomic demographics, and student-teacher ratios. U.S. News compared data from more than 81,000 elementary and middle schools nationwide.
