By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Hopkinton School Committee will likely use a search consultant to look for the next Schools Superintendent. Last week Superintendent Carol Cavanaugh announced she will be retiring at the end of the school year in June 2025. The Hopkinton Independent reports that at their meeting last week, School Committee Chair Nancy Cavanaugh said she will come up with a few options for how they should look for a replacement including with some consultants and/or the Massachusetts Association of School Committees. There will also be a screening committee of folks from the district and the community.
