The Hopkinton School Committee will be entering into negotiations with Hopkinton High School Principal Evan Bishop who they selected last week to become the next schools superintendent. Bishop is set to take the reins July 1 after the official retirement of current superintendent Carol Cavanaugh who announced earlier this year she would be stepping away at the end of the school year. The Hopkinton Independent reports Bishop has been with the district for 20 years as a counselor, assistant principal and principal.
