There are no serious injuries reported after a Hopkinton school bus hit a utility pole on the way to school Tuesday bringing power lines down to just above the roof of the bus. Hopkinton Police say it happened around 730am on Cedar Street Extension when the bus carrying Hopkinton Middle and High School students hit the pole for an as yet unknown reason. The Deputy Police Chief says the 32 students had to stay on the bus until the power was turned off about an hour later after which they were taken to the Middle School to be evaluated by school nurses and paramedics with only minor injuries reported. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
