Hopkinton residents can come to a meeting this Wednesday to hear about the town’s new group electricity buying program called Hopkinton Power Choice which begins in September. The Town has signed a contract with Direct Energy to provide 24 months of stable electricity prices as well as what they call cleaner electricity for residents and businesses. The town is holding two meetings to explain it all on July 16: at 2:30pm at the Hopkinton Senior Center and 6pm at the Hopkinton Public Library.
