By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton Police are warning about a new text scammer posing as EZDriveMA. They say residents in several towns have been reporting messages from something called EZDrive – without the MA at the end – asking for money for unpaid tolls. HPD reminds you to never share personal information in a text, and never respond to unknown numbers or click on any links. Also block any phone numbers that appear to be scams. They would also like you to report to the Internet Crime Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov.
