The Hopkinton Independent reports while it’s still a work in progress, recommended cuts include the annual holiday lights at the Town Common, maintenance for the Claflin Memorial Fountain and financial aid for some residents to participate in activities. In all Parks & Rec is being asked to cut about $37,000.
