By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Hopkinton Parks and Recreation Commission may be making some changes in how financial aid is awarded to use programs. Currently, they offer a $1,500-a-year credit per household to help cover certain programs. The Hopkinton Independent reports at the Commission meeting this week, the Parks and Rec Director suggested it should be doled out per person rather than per family so it is easier to track. After much debate the Commission opted to leave it as per household but voted to raise it to $3,000 a year.
