By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – A Hopkinton parent is reportedly leading an effort to get the Public Schools to do a safety assessment. Sean Burtt tells the Hopkinton Independent he plans to submit an article for the May Town Meeting to have the district look at bringing in consultants to see if they need to add more safety measures. The Superintendent tells the paper there are several safety measures in place that are not known publicly so as not to compromise integrity. She invites concerned parents to attend the district’s Safety Task Force meetings.
Is the tradition of trick or treating fading?
