HOPKINTON – If you have an issue you want to bring before Hopkinton Town Meeting, the warrant is now officially open for the May 2 Annual Town Meeting. According to the Hopkinton Independent, town departments are still reviewing and developing their proposed warrant articles, which could include $2 million to purchase land on Cedar Street, $1.5 million for a new HVAC unit at the Hopkinton Police Department, and $9.8 million for a water main replacement project on East Main Street.
This year’s Annual Town Meeting will once again be held on a Saturday, May 2. Voters approved the change last year in an effort to increase participation and make it easier for more residents to attend and take part in town decision-making.
