As the Hopkinton Select Board and other officials continue to whittle their way to a Fiscal Year 2026 budget, this week’s meeting had some public comment from citizens voicing their priorities such as services for seniors. A community needs assessment done last year indicated mounting challenges for seniors such as lack of affordable housing, cost of living and limited transportation for people who can’t drive.
