By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – A Hopkinton man has been found guilty of charges for an incident earlier this year in which he crashed his van into two homes on Grove Street. On Friday a judge in a bench trial found Stephen Murphy guilty of negligent operation and leaving the scene of an accident causing property damage. Murphy was also charged with OUI at the time but the defense claimed he had a medical event and the judge ruled there was no evidence to prove intoxication. Murphy was sentenced to 18 months’ probation and lost his license.
