By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – A shipment of transformers is reportedly holding up the next phase of the Hopkinton Main Street Corridor Project. Project officials say some overhead and underground utility work needs to be completed before the next road work can start, but at Project meeting last week the Eversource representative said they are awaiting the availability of transformers. They said they anticipate starting the transfer of overhead electrical lines to the new utility poles in about a month but no definitive date can be set yet.
