HOPKINTON — Hopkinton’s Home Rule Charter is once again under review, as required by town law. The Town Manager says a committee has been appointed to conduct the 10-year review of the Charter, which was originally adopted by the Town in 2006.
Under the Charter, a special Charter Review Committee must be formed every decade to examine the document and issue a report on whether changes should be considered. Town officials note that the committee’s meetings are open to the public.
Residents can review the Town Charter on the Hopkinton town website or by calling or visiting the Town Clerk’s Office at Town Hall.
