By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Hopkinton Health Department is reportedly cutting back on services after discovering the wages for two of their nurses are no longer being funded. The Hopkinton Independent cites the Health Department Director saying two per diem nurses had to be furloughed after the Finance Department realized their federal funding had run out. The late discovery has reportedly put the department in a multi-thousand-dollar financial hole. Only the Town Public Health Nurse is now available for certain duties.
