HOPKINTON – Hopkinton officially has a new head at the Department of Public Works. On Tuesday the Select Board unanimously approved the appointment of Conservation Commission co-chair Kerry Reed to lead the DPW, following her appointment by Town Manager Norman Khumalo. Reed is a retired engineer officer from the U.S. Army. The Hopkinton Independent reports the Select Board also approved the appointment of Julia Chun to the new town job of sustainability, economic development and equity project manager.
