HOPKINTON – A food pantry in Hopkinton is working to expand its ability to serve the community.
Project Just Because has launched a fundraising effort to purchase a truck capable of accessing loading docks. Organizers say they frequently have opportunities to collect large quantities of fresh food from stores and distributors, but their current vehicles limit how much they can transport.
The group hopes to raise $50,000 for the purchase, and donations are currently being matched by a supporter.
