By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Hopkinton Fire Department says Monday saw one their highest call volumes in recent memory. In a Tweet at 815am they say they’d responded to 18 calls in 4 hours but a second Tweet later put it at 36 calls and counting. Meanwhile Hopkinton Public Schools ended up closing before lunch because of power outages. While the rain and wind have ceased, we are still under River Flood Warnings as many are still cresting with Medway’s Town Manager saying they are watching many areas for breaching banks.
