By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton’s Town Election is today. All voting is at Hopkinton Middle School with polls open until 8pm. There is only one contested race and that’s for the Select Board with four people vying for two seats being vacated by Muriel Kramer and Irfan Nasrullah. There are also several tax exemption issues on the ballot including for an addition to Hopkins Elementary, an upgrade for the Howe Street water treatment plant in Ashland, an East Main Street water main replacement, and digitizing the Town’s records.
