Hopkinton’s Director of Public Works has declared a Mandatory State of Water Supply Conservation. This is effective today, April 1, for all customers connected to the municipal water system. As we reported yesterday much of Massachusetts is in a Critical Drought Stage. The declaration for Hopkinton means no outdoor, non-essential water use is allowed for all customers connected to the municipal water system, until the Mandatory Action is terminated. That includes watering your lawns, washing your car, and filling your pool. Get more details on the Hopkinton Town Website.
