By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopkinton is cracking down on people selling food out of their homes without a license. Last week the town’s Health Director reportedly sent cease and desist letters to two homeowners in Legacy Farms that were apparently selling food without a permit. The Hopkinton Independent reports in one case, a meat wholesaler who picked up USDA-inspected meat from a freight terminal at Logan Airport was stopping in Hopkinton to sell some meat out of a driveway. The violators have reportedly paid some fines.
